Basic conclusions:
- Remote work is widespread and has become a key factor requested in almost every interview (with varying frequency).
- Processes are primarily three stages or fewer.
- A master’s degree (Bac+5) is almost always a standard requirement.
- And we are still far from gender parity!

Five factors stand out, in order of frequency:
- The process is entirely managed by HR with a technically vague brief.
- Processes are too slow.
- Processes are too long (more than three stages).
- An inadequate offer—salary lower than the initial request and/or insufficient remote work.
- Overall, a mismatch between the desired profile and market reality. Does the profile even exist?
