The Brief

Following the acquisition of the world’s leading QR code platform, Egoditor, and the recent release of their Link launchpad product, Bitly embarked on a major programme of growth to support the rapid increase in global data traffic that these new products and services would bring.

Why Dataworks?

Bitly was looking for a specialist talent partner with the expertise and knowledge of Data and Software engineering market in the US.

They wanted a fully embedded recruitment solution that would act as a direct extension of their internal talent team.

Our Approach

By working as a direct extension of Bitly’s internal talent team, we were able to work directly with the hiring managers, which enabled us to get full briefing calls and a deep understanding of the various requirements and wider project scope.

We were also tasked with managing the interview process and as a result of our work, were able to bring the average time to hire from resume submission to just under 30 days.

Due to the fact that Bitly could only hire in 12 states, we had to adopt a very targeted approach to the search.

We utilized a number of advertising channels, direct headhunts, and referrals in order to ensure we delivered a broad, yet relevant shortlist.
