The Project

Following the second round of funding, BetMGM looked to establish a number of dedicated Advanced analytics teams based out of their Jersey City offices.

Why Dataworks?

BetMGM wanted to engage an exclusive talent partner with the expertise and experience of scaling specialist analytics teams, at pace.

They were looking for a partner who would be comfortable working as a direct extension of their internal talent team and in close collaboration with the senior analytics leadership team(VP and Directors).

We were tasked with building teams across-

  • Product & Marketing Analytics
  • Data Science and Machine Learning
  • BI & reporting
  • Operations & Fraud Analytics

BetMGM wanted a partner that had a good understanding of each vertical coupled with deep-rooted candidate networks within the New Jersey and NYC markets.

The Roles

BetMGM had to hire multiple profiles across BI, Data Science, Marketing & Product analytics, and Operations Analytics.

They were looking for candidates to be based out of Jersey City on a hybrid work pattern and have excellent technical skills coupled with exemplary communication and stakeholder management skills.

Approach

As a Data & Analytics specialist with deep-rooted networks in the NYC market, we could go to market and target a shortlist of suitable candidates within 24 hours of receiving the full brief.

We also provided up-to-date market insight and competitor analysis throughout the search, ensuring that offers were all accepted when they were presented. This reduced the time to hire and increased the ROI from those hires, well ahead of what BetMGM was expecting.
