Plenful is a San Francisco-based “Series A” startup.  They have built an AI-powered workflow automation platform for Pharmacy and Healthcare organizations.

Their solution automates over 95% of organizations’ workflows, captures additional revenue opportunities, eliminates the need for manual data entry, and frees up healthcare professionals’ time to prioritize other more critical tasks.

The Brief

Dataworks was engaged directly by Plenful’s founder, Joy Liu immediately after receiving confirmation of their “Series A” round of investment, led by TQ Ventures and Bessemer Venture Partners.

Joy was looking to build a new sales team and wanted a recruitment partner with experience supporting early-stage startups in Healthtech and Artificial Intelligence.

Why Dataworks?

Plenful chose to partner with Dataworks because of our experience in supporting other early stage startups in the field of HealthTech and AI. They wanted a partner who could provide a fully tailored service, be ok with constant change and act as true brand ambassador and extension of their business. 

Our Approach

Plenful was looking for enterprise-level sales executives with experience and a proven track record landing new logos within Healthcare.

We built out a clear search approach, and targeted candidates who had experience working in other Digital Health startups and with experience selling complex SaaS solutions across the provider, payer, and specialty pharmacy sectors.

We managed the entire recruitment process in partnership with the founder and senior leadership team, and have maintained a 90% offer-to-acceptance rate, despite some candidates having multiple offers.
