Why Dataworks?

SymphonyAI had been experiencing difficulties for several months recruiting 2 profiles within their Data Science & Machine Learning team. The need became urgent and they were looking for a recruitment partner specialized in Data and ML with the ability to quickly understand their market and the issues around MLOps and DevOps practices.

The Brief

The roles had been open for more than 6 months, with very little applicants. It was crucial for us to understand the roles and associated challenges in finding the right talents.

3 days later, we sent 2 CVs in line with the brief that were quickly rejected… this is when we realized that the job descriptions did not match what the team needed and were testing in the interview process. We organised a new brief and involved all the relevant stakeholders in the conversation (HR + Technical team) in order to redefine a clear description for the tech skills of the sought after profiles and clarify the hiring process.

From then on, we provided a shortlist of candidates for both roles within 10 days.

Our Approach

We worked directly with the Director of Data Science & Machine Learning and the HR team, which allowed us to gain a cross-functional understanding of business requirements and to move the recruitment process quickly.
